Community Idea
I've been thinking of starting a community. I'd call it fantasy_studies or something like that. It would be by/for/about the serious (more-or-less) study of various aspects of fantasy and sci-fi worlds, including topics such as invented languages (klingon, elvish, etc.), imaginary martial arts (lightsaber, gun kata, etc.), alien/monster biology, futuristic technology, imaginary cultures, etc. Community posts would include links to information and articles, inquiries and discussions, and people writing and collaborating on their own creations.
A question for my LJ friends: Does this sound like a community you would be interested in and would participate in? And if I do start it, is there anyone who would like to co-moderate it with me?
