Last Week In C-Bus
Well, like the subject says, this is my last week in Columbus. I guess I haven't updated in a while, but since the last time I wrote anything, I got a new job back home and have been in the process of getting things together for moving day. It's all happened pretty fast. It's almost weird how fast it all happened. I sent out 4 resumes, interviewed with 2 of the 4 places I sent a resume to, and then landed a job with the second place I interviewed. Wow! Just watching the hiring process at my current place of business makes me realize how picky the job market is, so I think I'm pretty lucky that I found a new job in just over a month from starting to look.
So, since I found out, I've been making the rounds telling people that I'm outta here. People at home are happy about it, and the people here aren't so much. But, that's the way things go. I'll see all my friends here again, so it's not really a huge big deal. A little group of us went out last night and had a good old time. And today I've been just hangin out, sneezing and being on the computer alot.
I'm listening to the new Weezer cd on myspace.com. So far, this isn't what I was expecting. It's good, but it's got a kind of melancholy sound to it. I'm only half way through, so hopefully it will switch back to the happy sound ala Beverly Hills.
So that's my story right now. I'll write some more eventually.
