or another show Lexie invested her heart in DIED

Originally this post was going to be about all the books I’m looking forward to at the end of this month during Book Expo America (aka: Heaven is a place called BEA), however something occurred this evening (May 9th, 2011) that I can not allow to pass without mentioning.

Stargate Universe ended its two year run on SciFiSyFy.

I cried.  I cried because the ending was…heartbreaking.  I don’t want to say what happened, but if it was the end of the season I’d be desperately searching for spoilers.  As the end of the series it put one of my favorite characters in a horrific position and I have no idea if that person gets out of it or not.  And since I’m an obsessive sort I follow the producers/cast blogs, twitter and facebook accounts and news isn’t good.  It seems SciFiSyFy decided to shelve the franchise for the time being and if it comes back, they’ll ‘reboot it’.  There’s not even any talk of novels.

Sadly I’m used to this.  And since misery loves company I’m bringing out the scifi/fantasy series that left me hanging, but in no particular order to the amount of heartbreak I received (I promise you, it was all significant though).
