My contribution to today’s SF Signal Mind Meld can now be found in Part 1 of the duology of answers, along with responses from Elizabeth Anne Hull, Jeff VanderMeer, Mike Resnick, Catherynne M. Valente, John Ottinger III, Alvaro Zinos-Amaro, Dave Truesdale. Mine is the only contribution to list fairly new authors, but I also caveat that by saying I didn’t really answer the question, only mention those authors collections that I have kept, and why. My fellow contributors, being long-standing members of the SF community, did a much better job of answering the question than I.

You should also check out Part 2 tomorrow when it goes live, which has answers from Blue Tyson, Elizabeth Bear, Gio Clairval, Jed Hartman and Scott A. Cupp.
