"You laugh until you cry, you cry until you laugh"

It's rare when things go just as planned-and have the same positive outcome and ending once it finishes. It's even rarer that plans get warped or changed and THEN have a better outcome than even expected in the beginning-this is one of the latter experiences.:D

I got to the con with Jeff and several others on Friday at about 2:30, and proceeded to go right to the hotel room to do our stuff, unpack and all that other fun jazz. Went and did a very lackluster (was recognized from people as the Arashi cosplayer from last year) but also very very fun and loose Paradise Kiss panel. Then went and showed my friend Jeff around, introduced him to some people and did a brief run of the awesome dealer's room and artist's alley. Invited him to the Suikoden panel, which went quite well and was a nice way to make up for said lackluster first panel. Also got everything I wanted to say out in discussion, and had the crowd enjoy it and get involved-mucho grande great times. Then went to Chuck's room and drank with friends, I apologize for anyone I weirded out or scared-I will never, ever EVER drink on an empty stomach again...no matter the circumstances.:P Went to a pretty noisy room party, but also came back and crashed rather early-ish as opposed to continuing at the DoubleTree, so that was a good end to a good first day.

Saturday was an absolutely crazy day, ended up waking up hung over-and doing coffee run for others and myself...then proceeded to go to Hamilton with Heather and Jeff to grab cosplay stuff.:P I'd like to thank Heather for doing the above and beyond in doing this-and point out that this not only shows her dedication to work, but puts her on "goddess in human form level" for doing so and STILL having an awesome time of the con. We got back, and I ended up missing my One Piece panel because I was busy putting on cosplay and hurrying myself to get ready.:P
Walked around the con, got recognized by many people and had two large photo sessions in being surrounded by cosplayers from the same series as well, many thanks to the UDON guys for being cool about all my questions and answering them with good humour and form. Met up with Kirstyn around 7ish, and went for an awesome dinner and hung out while getting ready for the dance and all that, was uber cool to do (as I usually forget to eat or don't get a chance to during said cons). I then went to my Shin Megami Tensei panel, which was absolutely awesomely run, as we had a full room and had many good questions and good discussion to go around. Thanks to my fellow panelists Mark and Bridget for being able to run the thing in such an awesome and organized way, while still being able to laugh and have fun the whole way through as well. Went to the dance then, and had an AMAZING time-I couldn't believe people were standing and watching me dance, and I was also complimented on such...which was a HUGE ego boost for me as well. Being stopped by cars and people with things like "YOU'RE WEARING A SOOTHER" and "YOUR MOUTH IS LIT UP" while on the way to it was also amusing.:D Me and Kirstyn and some others proceeded to go to a good room party, courtesy of Kenney McCoy organizing it, and my hat's off for having more people in the room then the first night, but being more organized and safe about it. Danced to trance and euro being played from a cell phone, and met many new people (including sexy French guy with good taste in music, of whom I'm hoping remembers to add me on MSN, as he's quite cool). Drank a fair bit, helped and took care of an awesome friend while getting back to hotel and be safe and warm about everything and such. Ended up passing out and getting a decent amount of sleep as well, so that was quite good.

Sunday was a good day as well, as I spent the last of my money in the dealer's room and had good enlightening conversation with said awesome friend as well (along with walking around the dealer's room and such with her), had a fantastic dinner at the end-and didn't leave anything or lose anything at the con, great way to end

Since I went to my first Anime North and coincidently, first con in 2005-I haven't had a time like this that was so pure and heartfelt amounts of awesome like this one was, seeing everyone and doing everything I wanted to do truly made for an absolutely amazing experience. This con went better than I thought it was, and around half of that was due to seeing someone I had been anticipating seeing for months now-Kirstyn (the awesome friend spoken about in earlier paragraphs, for those who couldn't figure such out). Even though I only met up with you about half way through the con, I couldn't have had a better time with you given the small amount of time that there was to occupy-there wasn't a moment spent with you where I didn't feel like smiling because it felt so right, and that in itself (especially for someone so careful about that) is a huge feat in itself. The time online alone spent up till' now has been awesome, and the con just topped things off and gave the future a good omen to go on. Thanks so much for spending time with me, and I really hope you enjoyed it as much as I did. My apologies if I made things ackward for anyone at the end by breaking down, but happy tears are something that's hard to stop, especially with such an awesome experience.

Hats off to awesome cosplay
