I am home from house/cat-sitting for my parents, but I left my laptop at their place. So, because I am an INTERNET ADDICT, I come to you from my old laptop, The Shitbox. And LOL, it is so clunky! And small but chunky. It feels dinosaurish. And I'm used to my new slick lappy (which for some reason I want to call Darcy - not after Mr Darcy - but after James May's statue in the Top Gear Vietnam Special!) I have no mouse (it's with the new one) and the mouse-pad in this one doesn't do that two finger scrolling thing that used to flummox me so much on Nix & DB's laptops. CRAZY TIMES. I blame any and all spelling errors on this computer and it's slightly smaller keyboard.

So, speaking of differences, I am back home with my little (not really) kitty Toby and HE HAS THE MOST HILARIOUS HIGH-PITCHED KITTENISH MIAOW EVER! I mean, he's always had this miaow - he's like a eunich (though so are the other cats, so who knows?) - but before I was used to it. Whereas now, after 5 days of slightly lower pitched miaows and purr-miaows and much uber-loud purring, this high pitched little kitten call and near-silent purring is so FUNNY and STRANGE. He is a very cute, chunky boy though and I've had cuddles and will have more.

Diesel and Morris are ANCIENT and they look it now. They are elderly, frail, gentlemen-cats. Still completely with it mentally, but just not quite sure on their feet. They are so gorgeous! I will post some pics (and maybe a video?) of them later, if I remember. The power of their purring is EPIC.

I am worried I am going to BREAK THE INTERNET (or perhaps just this laptop) through my uncontrolled compulsion to open tabs.

I realise what has been lacking in my life lately and what I must rectify asap. Crack. I have not written any crack in OMG SO LONG. Luckily, I have a story brewing and I don't care if none of you want to read it, I'm going to write it anyway and it's going to be EPIC! I have even coined a new term/look for my merry band of kidnapping heroes to gad about in: TWEED PUNK. I guess it's like steampunk only more tweedy. And they ride bikes. I can perfectly see Gary Oldman, Tilda Swinton, Tim Roth and Edward Norton in this look. David Bowie will also be there, but I'm not sure how tweed punk he's be. He will however reside in the ceiling space without actually being a David Bowie demon (any more than he is already) (perhaps his is the origin story) and be able to ... OH SHUCKS, I don't want to spoil you! But it will be EPIC! :D

toby, cats
