writing plans zomg
I don't think I'm gonna do any writing today. I'm just too tired. Might make coffee and try to do some editing though, so I can post my latest fic. But even that might be beyond me - focusing on words and all that. Difficult. Am skimming flist too.
It's a pity though, because I want to write. I've been bitten by a bunny (perhaps I need a shot for that?) - a fic that will maybe only excite one person, the person I'm writing it for: nixwilliams. He's been my main beta person FOREVER and he rarely makes fic requests of me. He might introduce me to something, a show or film or something that he enjoys, something that we might share. He's not a hugely subtle person, but I think perhaps this is his way of giving me hints. And it works. I've written Boondock Saints fic and RPS for the cast of Supernatural and still attempt to write SRS character Supernatural fic every now and again. (Let's say nothing about the ancient history involving Draco Malfoy somehow appearing in the Yu-Gi-Oh universe and other such madness.)
And so, onto another of Nix's great loves: Midsomer Murders. Is there anyone here, apart from Nix, interested in reading a fic in which Tom Barnaby's life comes apart at the seams? And Gavin Troy stays up drinking coffee and watching too many Nick Cage films? Crack and strangeness, but hopefully something dark and thoughtful too. And maybe sex. I guess we'll see what happens when I try to write it. Might have to watch an episode or two to remind myself as well. It's been a while.
My so-far-remarkably-plotless sequel to this will just have to wait (the idea was to expand the Gary/Tim/Ed posse to include Tilda Swinton, and maybe David Bowie, in a plot to kidnap Brad Pitt to save him from TEH LIPS OF DOOM). As will the beard/Scottish accent fetish David Tennant/John Simm fic (SORRY PEACE-BLOOM OMG FAIL, I KNOW!). And wombat-hug seems to be encouraging me to write Gene Hunt/Spanish!Gene Hunt slash (ie. a crossover between the British and Spanish versions of Life on Mars) which is just the right kind of crack to flick my switch.
I wish I didn't have to work, then I'd have more time and energy to do all this stuff! (Let's just not mention original fikshuns shall we? I've had ideas but inventing whole new original characters is just so tiresome!) Anyone want to PAY ME TO WRITE??!?!?!?
