Hi everyone, How did I manage to post more when I was writing a novel last month, but now the fact that it's December and Christmas in, like, TWO WEEKS (apparently) just totally overwhelms me and I have to have a cup of tea and a lie down just thinking about it. So, anyway, hi! This is me posting something.

Sorry I've not been in touch lately - I've been rubbish at my f-list and anything apart from ficcing, really :(

I've not seen Merlin yet. I'm thinking, from the amount of pleasure it's bringing to the world, I probably ought to. But I'm still trying to catch up on Supernatural!!

I've been lousy lately too - trying to keep up & comment and everything, but keep skimming my flist when I get too pressed for time. I've seen your fic but not read any yet. :( Too busy with Merlin I'm afraid, but I miss TG and the fandom in particular! Has anything exciting been happening? I hear (from the comments above!) that James and The Stig are now officially an item! *squee* Well, if sharing clothing isn't a sign of being together, then I don't know what is. ;D

You really should give Merlin a shot - it's truly epic in both prettiness and slashiness. I'd say go for Merlin OVER Supernatural - you only have one season of Merlin and a small but growing fandom to catch up on, whereas with Supernatural it's nearly 4 complete seasons and a huge sprawling crazy fandom to tackle. *chants* Merlin! Merlin! Merlin!

I miss you at TG too! We need your inspiration at tg_crack! Main fun lately, I guess, has been going to MPH and shows and stuff...plenty of good fic, too. Too much really ;)

I've been thinking fangirling Merlin a lot, I love medieval-set stuff and ficcing it...but, um, the guys just all look *so* young and pretty, I can't imagine that I'll get really into them, which has been my same problem with Supernatural. I just can't quite seem to get that TG passion going. But I will still give it a shot.

And no. I haven't just started to slash Take That (help, if anybody has ever heard of them in Aus.!) Because that would be wrong ;P

They are young and pretty, but they are also OF LEGAL AGE, so you have nothing to feel dirty about! and there are also older men you could ship: King Giles and Gauis go way back and have pretty much raised Arthur as a couple. Trufax. And there are some delicious women there too, and thus femmeslash possibilities - if you wanted to go there. So, pretty much something for everyone! ;D No James May, Richard Hammond or the Stig though. :(

Perhaps TGS is your one true fandom love against which you'll measure everything else. And how can other fandoms complete, really? They can't. They try but they fail.

Take That? The band, right? With Robbie Williams? And where they were all shagging? WE KNOW OF THEM HERE. WE DO HAVE THINGS CALL RADIOS AND TVS AND THE INNERNETS HERE IN AUSTRALIA YOU KNOW. ;D

Haha, sorry. I remember reading Take That weren't big outside the UK...but, anyway, I've never been into them until recently when I looked at the new stuff and it occurred to me it was a) cheesy but I liked it b) OMG THEY ARE CLEARLY ALL SHAGGING!!! YAYZ!!

Agh, it's no good. I looked, I tried, I enjoyed Merlin, but they are too young or too old. I seem to only be able to ship men between the ages of 35 and 48 (to be extending to 49 when jeremy turns 49, I guess!) I think you observe rights, TGS is my one true fandom love *sigh*.

Still, I will certainly watch more Merlin just to join in a little squee...

I dunno if they're as big, but I have heard of them. Though the fact that they have new stuff is news to me! What's with that? Has Robbie given up on his solo career or is he not in the band anymore? I thought that perhaps your man had got you into them. Isn't that kind of thing his taste in music?! ;D

The delicious Anthony Head (aka King Giles) is 54 (apparently, according to the internet), so that's not that much older than Jezza and I daresay he looks a lot better! Alas, it was the season finale this weekend, so unless you DL it, you'll have to wait until next year to watch more. :D
