hello September! hello Spring!

I'm gonna try and be strong and do some writing first and not read my flist. And I feel telling you this will help me achieve my goal. I meant to get up at some hour and do this, but no, I love sleep far too much and to just sleep and sleep was more tempting during those delightful hours.

But first! My dream! It had Gene Hunt in it! This fact alone makes me grin like a loon. It had something to do with time travel (no prizes for guessing what I was watching last night). At some point him and me and someone else (who was unimportant) were locked in a box that had writing on the outside. The writing was about things that Gene had done, things everyone should know about and should know that the man in the box (Gene) was the one who'd done those things. Gene was telling me that the first time round, when he'd been locked in the box, he didn't know what these things were - he hadn't done them yet. But due to the time travel we'd done, he now knew what these things were - he'd done them, he'd had to do them. And we got out of the box through some sliding panel (à la the episode of Midsomer Murders which was on the tellybox last night) and then we looked at the box from over the top of some grassy knoll and at all the stuff written on it in white paint in a messy scrawl.

Wow. What a fascinating recount. Another dream, a bit later, I was driving (for the second dream in so many nights) and yet again wondering which pedal did what. And I was trying to drive fast, to made a speedy getaway - in a stolen car, incidentally - from some bloodthirsty punk undead kind of hordes. Why wasn't someone else driving? Someone else who could actually drive?? And where was Gene Hunt at this point? Why had he abandoned me??!?!?!? These are the questions my subconscious raises and these are the questions I cannot provide satisfactory answers to. The mystery deepens.

you guys want to read this stuff right?, gene hunt (i love you), life on mars, dreams, tv
