We can use the comm if we create a dummy anonymous user that joins the comm, with a shared password that everyone can use for posting. I'd like to try that to see if it works.

huh? how does that work? i don't understand why you'd need the password if you're gonna be posting anonymously anyway. and won't it be confusing - having to log in as someone else?? (for a username, i vote for thestig!!) could we not just have a post that isn't locked? or do all the posts automatically get member-locked?

I am attached to the idea of keeping posts to tg_crack locked, so BBC lawyers, Google and my relatives cannot see them trivially - this may be irrational, but I suspect I am not alone.

If we post an LJ id and password in the top-level post for the meme - say tgc_anon, then any comm members can see it, and they can post using that alias, for effective anonymity. Hopefully we can trust people not to abuse this.

We can't use thestig because it is already taken ;-)

I think you can probably cope with having two windows open as two different identities - how hard can it be?

I'm curious about what people will realize is mine as well. I tend to get spotted on anonymous memes, which doesn't go well with my tendency to go "But could I make a story out of the prompt I find fairly disturbing to contemplate?"

it could be because with any sort of meme, you always write and post a whole heap of stuff (which is awesome!). so if you take a wild stab in the dark and guess that something is a wolfy fic, the chance that you're right is going to be fairly high! :D
