in which I ramble about Superspecialawesomenatural (nothing spoilery - don't worry)
I keep seeing people's response posts to the Supernatural Season 3 finale - all good with spoilers behind cuts (you lot are great with that. Top marks!) But I wanna know what's going on! Like, so much! I want in on the pain, the angst, the broyaysexing *ahem*. That is how I imagine it - please don't spoil me and tell me otherwise. I don't care! I don't want to know!
I am, however, rather far behind. I have been rewatching Season 1 and have only one episode to go there - that will provide me with a nice bit of pain, angst and broyaysexing (if my memory serves me correctly)... then I'm gonna rewatch Season 2 and then I'll get to Season 3. *le sigh* Or maybe nixwilliams will agree to be hardcore with me and watch as much as we can of Season 2 and 3 in ONE OR TWO DAYS and we can gorge ourselves on cheese and whiskey and chips. How does that sound, Nix? Then we can write fics about faun!Andy and Ash getting stoned and having sex on the pool table. Or that thing... I'm having vague memories of an idea involving Ash having sex with the jukebox - do you remember that as well, or is my brain lying to me again?
Something else SPN I was gonna tell you. What was it? Oh yes. When Sam and John were fighting and their fighting was making Dean SO UPSET because he can't handle it if the two most important people in the world to him are fighting, he just CANNOT DEAL WITH IT AT ALL, so I kept expecting him to go a bit Bob Fossil and start yelling "Nicey nicey zoo zoo!" and clamping his hands over his ears. And then when Sam and John made up, Dean was so happy - aw! And John's thing about ending it with The Demon (who, in my head, is now Anton from No Country for Old Men, thanks a lot amy-wolf and rionaleonhart. For those of you who don't know what I'm talking about go here and read Wolfy's awesome fic) and John just wants to finish it so that Sam can go to school and Dean can "have a home"-! As if this is what Dean wants. It's as though he's a child and can't make his own life. The Impala is his home, the road is his home, Sam is his home. As if he'd be happy, settling down in one place, not hunting, not being with his Sam. There has been nothing to suggest he wants anything other than to be on the road, in the Impala, hunting, with Sam. Right? Am I right? He is basically a Time Lord. Proof:
-he does not want to/can't settling in one place for any extended length of time
-he has an awesome vehicle to travel in (surely the Impala also travels in time and space?)
-he has a companion who he has a supposed platonic relationship with (yeah, whatever)
-he has a leather jacket (Christopher Eccleston is my doctor! leather jacket FTW!)
Speaking of Christopher Eccleston (and if you didn't read beneath the cut, don't you now want to know how I got from SPN to Christopher Eccleston?!), watch this:
How had I not seen that until today?! And if that doesn't just validate my not driving even more! If he went a lot of his adult life without driving, so can I! Wheee!
