It is really hot here today. 34.6°C. Ok, I don't think I wanted to know that. I am trying to watch Torchwood 2.04, but it is taking forever to stream/buffer and the laptop is heating up. It might be about to burst into flames for all I know. The fire extinguisher is in the kitchen. I don't know how to work it or even if it's full of whatever it is that's meant to be in it. On the plus side, I could meet some nice firemen if the house catches fire. Maybe I should give up on Torchwood, give the laptop a rest, and go and lie in a nice, cold bath, read my book, then fall asleep and try not to drown. Yes, that sounds nice.

So, I am thinking about a day of drinking margaritas and making Top Gear themed cookies. There could also be watching of said show, while said cookies are devoured. Who would be up for such an event? You might have to make your own way to my place, but I'm sure I can fit, say, 10 of you in my basement if you don't mind gettin' cosy. Coloured icing, people, coloured icing!
Ooh, also, the tellybox has finished season 9 of TG, but instead of the logical thing - going onto season 10 - it's going right back to the start! Season 1 of the 'new' version, with The Black Stig! OMG. But I guess that also means no James. :`( So, Australians, it's on Saturday now, 7:30, SBS. Mark your diaries, ok?!
ETA: OMG, another one! by spiritedchaos (oh, i just realised it's a locked post, so non-TGSers won't be able to see. soz.) My cunning plan to fill the internet with images of James May in red braces is working! Though my brain is also working around how you'd get the Stig into red braces. You don't really need braces when you're wearing an all-in-one jumpsuit. Hmm. Maybe it would need to be a steampunk Stig... who is wearing a fencing mask instead of a helmet! Ha!
