I'm a Yuya Matsushita fan!
Yes. I don't think I've blogged about it here before.
But, I got into Kuroshitsuji months...possibly a year or so ago. And of course - I just have to find things that goes on in the fandom - I found the first Kuroshitsuji musical on youtube. I tried to watch it but it wasn't subbed at the time so it was hard to follow the story.
Then. I found out about Kuroshitsuji the Musical 2: The Most Beautiful Death in the World. It was the song numbers that got me. I loved most of them. The Shinigami dance one, and the one where Sebastian sings a love song to the Undertaker. It goes to my morbid side because at the end Sebastian's singing about suicide. Weird huh? but, I love it.
Anyway - Then I found out who played Sebastian in both Play's. Yuya Matsushita. I found out he was a singer and so I looked up some songs. His album Foolish, Foolish was the first I came across and I loved the English/remix version.
He sings very romantic songs that aren't gooey. I hate gooey romantic songs. Shania Twain - besides one song - I find her gooey and...yeah. I can't stand it. But, since most of Yuya's songs are in Japanese, have a catchy tune - event he slow ones - I took to listening to him a lot.
My two favorites, though, have to be Super Drive and Paradise.
It's funny how my head comes up with stories to these songs without knowing the translations to either. When I started listening, though, there weren't translations and if I found one, it was in a language I didn't know anyway so it didn't really matter.
I found and still find Paradise to be very beautiful. I love how it just encourages people to be themselves and I thought the song meant to find the beauty in your life. And then, I read the translation - and oh, boy. It's awesome. This is the sort of boyfriend a girl wants, a boy who's there come rainy night or windy day. He's just encouraging and supportive and I wonder what the hell our American Society is doing wrong since I don't hear a lot of these songs coming from our own popstars.
I know there are some; I'm not saying there aren't any at all. It's just that I don't hear them a lot. I appreciate when I do. Anyway - All I'm saying is that Paradise...I want it to be the song I dance to with my husband if I ever get married. I know, it's weird, but I love it.

The story I came up for this one was something along the lines of cop-chasing-criminal through Tokyo. It's the line "Car chase through Tokyo" that gave me that idea. Then, I found the translation. And I think this is Yuya's cheater song. Usually it's Taylor Swift or What's her name with the cheating boyfriend songs. But when I read the lyrics to this one. Yuya's girl in this song is either an under cover cop, or is cheating.
Oh, there's a great story. I should write that.
I've always wanted to write a story based off this song. I've tried but it never works well. I'm American and I want to write about Japanese characters. I know lame. But, I really want to write it.
Hmmm...I might do it. It's not like the fan fics can't take a break for a while. right?
I'll let everyone know when I plan to take a hiatus from the fan fics.
So yeah. I'm a fan of Yuya Matsushita. I also love anime, and I'm a cosplayer. I haven't done full on costume cosplay though. I don't have any for the character's I want to do. I promised someone that my first full cosplay would be Sanzou from Saiyuki. My best friend had called Hakkai and Gojyo but I'm gonna do them anyway. The only reason why I'm not doing Goku is because - he acts bit young for me and my temperament is more Sanzou anyway. lol.
The other cosplay I want to do is Tamaki and Co from Ouran. I might not do Mori or Honey. But the Twins, Kyoya, Haruhi and Tamaki are for sure. I plan on going the classic baby blue uniform though, because while I've seen the live action of Ouran - I'm not likgin their uniforms. Sorry, but plaid just isn't cool.
I also want to do Ciel, Sebastian, Grell, and the Undertaker from Kuroshitsuji. I've already found the "Robin" cosplay dress. That's the pink dress for the ball. There are other Ceil cosplay's that I want to do as well. I think it has to do with the ruffles. I love ruffles.
I'm also going to cosplay Death Note.
I all ready do some L cosplay. My older ones really suck and I'm trying to figure out if I should delete them from my DA account. I probably one day. The funny thing, the cosplay is slightly closet. I don't think the jeans matter. Really. To me jeans are jeans. For the white shirt though. My Dad had an old white turtle neck that I pulled out of a pile of clothes to go to Good Will. I simply cut off the high neck on it and there it was. L's white shirt.
It works well enough. And my siblings came across a black wig a former friend left at our house so I stole that and style it so use for L.
So. There is one of my recent L pics. I haven't done much more because my computer is down. I forgot what online editing program I used to get the effect use in the pic.
