Another weekend gone =)
Hmm it has been a while since I posted..
Life has been good to me, but of course, it also has been pretty harsh. But it is expected now, and I am not really afraid of these things. My motto for these things is now "Deal with them as they come at you, with an open mind and always, always try to view it from other angles.". It may seem strange, but it's something that I don't really want to get into, since it is pretty darned ugly how it was dealt with, but it was the best solution.. ANYways..
Saw Silent Hill last night. It was ultraviolent, and that was probably the only shock factor of the movie. Everything else was interestingly pictured, and I couldn't help but like it a little bit. Yes, if you look at it from a movie point of view, I do not think the movie was very good. But somewhere in there, my gamer geek self liked it. I could tell the director and the writers were focused on incorporating the video game elements into the movie, sound, plot, camera angles to character dialogue and actions. 70% of the time it felt like I was watching someone play Silent Hil. The other 30%, well, I'm not so sure.
Everyone who knows me well realize that I am not really a big fan of scary movies. Yes, I react like a little girl when things pop out and scream at you. No, I don't scream like a little girl, although I wish I could.. :P
Work wise, it is an interesting adventure everyday. I feel bad saying it, but I have been enjoying work. A few of my very close friends' contracts did not get extended, and yes, it does suck.. But work has been busy because of that, and I do like to focus on my work when I am at work. So currently, I was doing pretty much every testing job that my team had to do, (even though we got a new guy in our team.. He is getting comfortable with his new job I guess :P) and now it looks like I get to move to a new job! (same team, different role) I was trained sort of on Friday, and the guy I am supposed to take over for is moving on Monday! But Kayla (my manager) has other plans it seems. Hmm? I just wish someone would tell me these things! Sometimes the suspense is too much :P So many rumors, and Im one of those people that wont believe it until they see it! (Most of the time) I guess I will see on tommorrow.
I moved my room! I am now back in the bar. Quite the large space, and it is much cooler during summer so it should be good. Also, a freaken bed! Wow! No more futon! hehehe.. My back better appreciate this! =3
