So, hello to all. I just thought I'd jump on here for a few minutes to let you all know that I am still alive. I am trying to graduate IT "A" school up here in Great Lakes, IL. So far, it's pretty easy. Everyone says that it gets a lot harder when we get into the "RF" part of our school which is in the next 3-4 weeks. I have about nine weeks left and then I am going to my first duty station. Hopefully Norfolk, VA or maybe somewhere back down that way. I know of a couple of openings in bases in Florida. I even heard they are taking some ITs for Pensacola working with a flight squadron. I might try for that. Then again, there's the possibility that I may get selected to be a Communications Operator for SEAL Team 2 based out of Little Creek, VA. I am still fishing for information. I just know they are taking on applicants. I'm just sick of being here in Chicago. It snowed 8-10" last night in a 5 hour period. THAT IS NOT FUCKING COOL. It's actually borderline gay. Other than school and Duty Section musters and inspections and NMT (Naval Military Training), I am doing fine. On the weekends I usually sit around and watch movies on my portable DVD player. That is my idea of excitement. However, tonight, I plan on doing some 12 oz. curls at the bar with some of my buddies. Anyway, I'm about to go and sit on my ass and use up your tax dollars. You can usually contact me between 6:30pm and 10:30pm everyday; or all day on the weekends. Peace out bitches.
