Ha ha, ha ha ha.
That's the sound of my reassurance of knowing that despite it being 1:30 and my effective squandering of time, I still have a motivational plan to type up. The only consolation is the fact that the paper really doesn't have a minimum limit, something unheard of for a school paper. It looks like I am gonna thank the power of Dr. Pepper and B.S. in keeping me safe from a poor grade. I'm pretty sure the teacher realizes that he will get a B.S. paper for this assignment, from the whole class, which makes me wonder "Why assign something that no one cares about?"
And that question applies to all my classes, ever -- does higher education really matter if all it does is inculcate the art of "fake it till you make it." Perhaps that is what life is really about, and if that is the case, I have problems with that,
But this weekend has been pretty good nonetheless. I worked on another paper for the same class, and that took far too long. It was another B.S. paper, but I actually had to think about it this time. Oh well. It's done. I just need to submit it online. I did have some POM homework, but that took about 40 minutes, so it wasn't too bad. On Friday night, Kelsey once again entreated me with her presense as we went and saw the slam dunk competition on campus. It was alright, seeing how it was only white guys trying to 1-up each other. There were some good ones though. But I was with Kelsey, so that is all that really mattered. Afterwards, we went back to my place, grabbed a pizza, and looked at music. It was simple, but good nonetheless.
It is warming up, finally. Spring is on its way, which means, in Rexburg terms, snow is gonna come again. Gotta love this place!
