Jul 08, 2008 01:09

6 July was my birthday which I celebrated in the labyrinth. Which I survived!

More about this tomorrow as I have to get some sleep. Have to get up early.

Cool, I didn't realise you were involved with it at the time. I was involved with the printing and binding of the books, and had a blast selling them at AC :D

Yeah, back in November I moved to Dallas TX. By sheer coincidence, it happened to be a brief walk from where Furplanet would move to a few months later.

After a while I got to know the guys and started to help out with production (which was about March.) Around June we finally had HC ready for printing, so I must have bound like 70-80 (about half of our total for AC) copies of that in a day ;3;

Cause I was helping out so much with production, they offered me space to crash with them at Anthrocon if I helped run the table :D

On one of the days this guy comes along and starts taking photos of the stand, and I ask him why and he's like "I'm taking photos for JohnnyK." At which point my mind is blown XD

Gotta say, it is a great little graphic novel :D

Well I'm really happy that you worked so hard on it and that I know that a good friend of mine helped. :D

Yes that guy is Miyabi. Good friend of mine. I asked him to take pictures of the stand. They are here if you want them; http://harddrive.fm/HeathenCity/

:D Its awesome to hear from you again.

Nice photos XD Yeah, it's been a long road to getting it ready, but in the end Heathen City was a fun project for all.
