I am such a F*cking Geek!
*LOL* I went out with my daughter to see New Moon. Actually, even without ever deigning to touch a book, or bothering to force myself to watch the first film (Why do they call them Twihards? Because they have to TWI HARD to sit through this tripe! XDDD I know, that's MEAN!) it was okay. I still caught on to exactly what was going on, understood every character, and yeah, now I get why some people call this just supernatural creature fangirling. Really, I can feel how hard they're trying to hit the 12 year old girls out there *laughs*. I suppose it wasn't a total waste of 2 hours of my life XD, I wasn't squirming in my seat desperate to get out of there after like...5 minutes like I expected. Although, Cougar that the InnerJJ! is, I suspect that had something to do with the cute young werewolves *snickers* wowsa! hotHotHOTTeh, oh yeah... XD Mind you I did like them better with LONG hair, I guess you can blame that on my renewed interest in Type O Negative *LOL*.
But no, I'm not a geek for admitting New Moon didn't almost make me die of boredom *LOL*. I'm a geek because while we were in Lindsay, I broke down and bought the first season of the original Knight Rider series (damn Changing Channels ep, costing me monies! *grumbles*). AND, when I went into the game shop, they had a used copy of Godzilla, destroy all monsters melee for gamecube. I actually bounced and squeed when I saw it on the shelf O.O. WTF? XDDD There was my total geek moment for today. The girl behind the counter was so laughing at me, said she'd had people looking for that for ages, and she was glad to see it go like 2 days after it came in to someone that would 'obviously enjoy it' XDD. Now I shall go partake of my Type O video, after dark. Ciao!
