A Very British Afternoon?

I've had a pleasant day so far. After signing up (finally) for a new checking account because my old bank doesn't have branches in Texas, I went to a local coffee house, and had--well, tea. I even had the woman put an ice cube in the tea just the way I like it so it wouldn't be too hot. I have a sensitive mouth, you know. Then I whiled away two hours writing out a few thank you cards and reading several chapters in my latest Trollope novel, The American Senator.

I need to do this more often, but alas, tomorrow I sub again.
