-I went and got a paid account last night only so I could have more icons for my already limited interests. Lol, I suck. Paid-account friends, halp: What's this thing about "loyalty" that can earn you more icons? They keep mentioning it in the FAQ but they don't explain it.
-Thanks to everyone who responded to my uber-depressed entry last weekend. I've checked out all the things you guys linked to and suggested, and, per my usual style, I'm still in the process of responding to everyone. Thanks, though. Much cheering up was done by all.
-And now for the big news: Guess what I'm doing today? Go on, guess. If you said not going to Connecticut so I don't see Elvis Costello in concert tomorrow, you're WRONG, sucka. Remember when I wrote about my friend who wanted to make up not coming to Ohio by taking me the Elvis Costello/Bob Dylan concert? She ended up winning tickets from a radio station (whoo-hoo!). I wish I could say that I really deserve this break and earned it through all the hard work I've been putting in at school, but I haven't. Really though, that's hardly the most important issue at hand:

-I've talked with this same friend about staying with her over Long Weekend so I can see TMBG in New Haven and she's absolutely fine with it, and would even go with me to the concert although I know she doesn't like and/or know them all that much. So that's a relief, since I thought I would seem like a burden and had put off asking. Now the only problem is if I can get to Connecticut because the concert is in the middle of the week and my friends work and I don't have a car. I'm weighing my options and making more fantasy travel plans, as I am determined to get there. Ecstatically, bra-tossingly determined.
