I am in love
My wife and daughter are the two most amazing people I have ever had the honor of spending this much time with. I wish that there was more that I could do to buy Bex some sleep, but it'll get better for her once we get home tomorrow. The nurses keep coming in every few hours and giving her pills or checking her vitals. I've been fortunate to get at least six hours of sleep every night, though they are six hours on a couch in the hospital room.
Hospital food is absolutely bumming me out at this point. I just want something tasty and delicious. Even a grilled chicken breast and some vegetables would be great, so long as they weren't from the kitchen downstairs.
It makes me smile that the baby is starting to look more and more like Deanna. And man, is her hair ever a trip! To say that she has a full head of hair seems like a bit of an understatement...
I want to go to Miller Park some time this month. Several times if I can squeeze it in, but I am not going to push my luck. If you are reading this and want to join me, let me know!
