His smile, always one of her favorite things about him caught her off guard this time. He looked so happy to see her, that was not what she had expected of him after all but breaking up with him in the fashion she had.

A sad smile crossed her pale features as she laughed, only softly and cut short in an effort to stop the emotions from welling up once more."Your radar is rather reliable then. Ariana, I am not surprised she would call you. She had told me I made a mistake the night she arrived..."Ambyr knew she had but she had thought what she did was more fair to him, he needed someone human to love.

She would never be human. She was only a vampire with a human heart to give him.

His proffered flower was taken gently as she pushed her hair back to look him in the eyes when they began to glass over with a sheen of unshed tears. She had never been given a flower by a boy before, she was not really fond of them but the simple gesture from him meant more. As he moved forward and she did nothing to block his entrance into her hotel room but he stopped.

She was never keen to cry in front of others, she believed in being strong but he had caught her during one of her weakest times. As he leaned to whisper in her ear the dam began to crack, little hairline fractures in the form of crystal teardrops snaked their way down porcelain skin slowly.

She did nothing to break their closeness, she looked at him with nothing to hide how she felt as she leaned in slightly to whisper back to him."I am so sorry my love, I cannot say it enough. I did what I did because I love you, and I do, very much."The brush of his lips against her cheek left a lasting sensation and she almost hesitantly touched her lips to his.

After the way that she had broken up with him, nothing could have made him happier than to see her. The fact that his smile was firmly in place and not leaving was something that could easily testify to that fact.

An embarassed little smile crossed his lips when she mentioned Ari telling her she'd made a mistake the night that she had arrived in Japan. "Which would have been a few days after we got here, I'm guessing." He sideglanced innocently, "I say "we" because I've been here as long as you have. I'm officially the first stow-away on an international flight." Oh yes, he had surely broken some kind of law by doing what he did.

He could see the tears that threatened to fall in that short moment before he leaned in, and when he leaned back he saw the trails of tears that had fallen. When she leaned in slightly, his arms moved slowly around her and held her gently, lovingly. Her words made him want to dance and sing and celebrate, but he contained himself. Their lips touching was far better a thing anyway, and as her lips touched his, he pressed his back against hers softly. A hand came up to stroke through her hair softly, and he held her just like that for a few moments.

Slowly he broke the gentle kiss and spoke softly, hardly moving away from her. "May I come inside, my love?"

She had not expected his happiness, she had expected his anger and pain, but his smile was continuing to amaze her, the chance to right her mistake she had made. She only hoped being what she was would not drive them apart again one day. Hurting him had driven a stake in her heart, pardon the pun.

Ambyr glanced at him with a raised brow despite her emotional state."She is rather sneaky then, or I should say the both of you are. I would be rather cross to hear you break the law like this Johnathan but.. well I suppose I cannot now."She added with a soft laugh that was mixed with emotion.

His kiss lingered on her lips and tingled as her heart lept. It felt wonderful, it truly did as he touched her. Unlike the shyness before, she welcomed it, shy but no longer staggeringly so. She was becoming better with him, thanks to his patient love. Yes, she would call him patient after today.

When they broke apart, she smiled with moistened eyes and nodded."Of course love."Tugging his hand softly, she led him inside. Her room was neater then most teenagers who would stay at a hotel, Mr. Ravyn was slumbering lazily on her pillow.

Looking at him once more, she pressed a kiss to their joined hands. They were in for a difficult road if they were going to try to keep the love they shared.

"I'm glad you're not. Would be a sad thing to come all this way only to have a fight." He smiled softly, "I'd much rather not. Besides, in all of history, never has a man beaten a woman in an argument. It's the conversational equivalent to invading Russia in the winter." He gave a little grin, "And yes, we're sneaky in our own ways."

It seemed that the longer they were together, the less shy that they became. It was actually a very nice thing, for sure. It was alright to be shy and awkward, but getting confortable with one another was something that he was glad that was happening. Being patient, well, it was easy - he knew that all things came in time, when they should come. Rushing things was never the way to go about anything.

Closing the door as she took him inside the room, he smiled as he looked around. He couldn't think of a single teenager that could take care of a hotel room this well. Perhaps he could - but that was due to the fact that he wouldn't have anything to potentially mess it up with.

When she kissed their hands, he put the other around her and kissed her foreheard, whispering softly. "I love you."

"That is the only reason I have yet to properly scold you for it."She informed him, finding it easier to be playful now no matter how emotional she was. Her laughter took her by surprise as he even made a joke, it was soft but a laugh all the same."I will speak to her when she is not hungover. You, I will say your sneaky ways have surprised me today."She was teasing him now despite her tender heart.

It would seem they were thinking along the same lines. Today, being so shy and awkward with someone who loved her as much as he did was more silly then it used to be. She was coming to the point in their relationship where she could trust him more then he may have thought, with that trust came comfort and more physical expressions of her love. Still shy at times but she fought it less now. They would set their own pace, she trusted that.

Her smile came easier this time as his lips touched her pale skin, his hand holding her to him."I love you too."She uttered, unable to help it, her lips found his.

He chuckled softly when she told him that the only reason she hadn't properly scolded him was because it would be sad for them to fight now after everything that had happened. When she laughed, no matter how softly, at his joke, he smiled. He loved making her laugh; it was the most angelic sound he'd ever heard. When she said she'd speak to Ari when the young woman wasn't hung over, Johnny snickered. "I take it she's been trying out the local firewater." He grinned a little then, "Have they now, my love? Well, I must ask, is it a good surprise?" He smiled softly. He had to say, in his own mind, that he felt quite a lot like James Bond doing what he'd done. Granted, he wasn't here to save the world; just tostay with the girl he loved.

When she kissed him, it was returned happily as both his arms wrapped around her waist and he held her close. The feel of her in his arms was a wonderful thing, and the truth was that if he could, he would have stopped time right then just so he could hold her for all eternity. Breaking the kiss slowly, he moved a strand of hair behind her ear and gazed down into her eyes, caressing her cheek softly. "Ambyr, you're beautiful."

Laughter had been hard to come by even with some of the amusing activities she had been engaged in but he could still make her laugh which she loved him for."She has sampled several different alcoholic beverages if that is what you mean Johnathan. She will be fine in a few hours, Rafe has it worse but he has managed to behave himself within reason."The seventeen year old teased softly."This particular surprise is a very good one."He could be loving where she was quiet and reserved, it made it difficult to ignore his displays of affection.

She deepened the kiss for a moment, unable to help herself because it felt right as her skin tingled from his touch. As he moved to touch her hair, she rested her forehead against his."No, but that is kind of you to say Johnathan. Can you do me a favor and entertain yourself for a few minutes, I am in need of a shower. You may do as you wish until then."She asked when their lips parted.
