A Bendis-Fuelled Challenge & The FST Project
Welcome to the second of my two posts today! ^_^ This one's the really fun one, because it's CHALLENGE TIEM AGAIN!! *waves tiny flag* Yay!
I present to you the (probably poorly named) Johnny and Jessica Challenge!
(seriously, if you have a better name, let me know)
This challenge is inspired by some comments by Bendis about the possibility of Johnny and Jessica - otherwise known as Spider-Woman - in a dating relationship (See hyperactivator's post here for the quote and some comments from the peanut gallery!).
I'm gonna quote jett_chan here because she said it first (and probably best):
"I mean... Jessica has all of Peter's memories... Doesn't that mean Peter would have had to have been attracted to Johnny in some way before, or could it just be a cover? DX Mind boggling!
I think that'd be a pretty amusing challenge. Johnny finding out he's practically dating his best friend..."
There's your prompt, people! Obviously, the goal here is to end up with or at least include the Johnny/Peter relationship, and there have gotta be some really fun ways to get there via Jessica. Have fun, guys!
(As usual, all ratings will be accepted. Given the nature of the challenge, the fics will most likely have het content, and just in case there was any worry about that... het will be acceptable in challenge responses, as long as there's some J/P content as well. After all, this is the J/P community!!)
And, if a challenge wasn't enough for this post, there's one more item of business!
Would anyone be interested in an FST?
I was thinking that since we've got a fair few members now, we might attempt to put together an FST for this pairing! Do you have a song that you keep on repeat when you write or draw these guys? A song that's inspired you?
I figured we could just start collecting songs, and when we have enough for a respectable FST, I could compile the whole thing and get it into some sort of downloadable format. Just comment with the song(s) you'd like to add to the FST! I'd love to get input from everyone in the community and really make it a community-wide effort, so even if you've never posted (yes, I see you all lurking there on the membership list~!), feel free to jump in on this one!! ^_^
