Bizness Japanese is finished

It's rainy season here in Japan right now - torrential floods of rain will fall from the skies for the rest of the month, with little or no warning. It started raining crazy like this last week, but rainy season doesn't officially start until next Saturday so I suppose this is just classified as regular rain that falls in the exact same way. I love Japan.

I did my Business Japanese exam on Sunday and it was even tougher than what I expected. The level of the exam is much higher than what I'm able for at this stage. I am not expecting a great score but I am still upbeat because I was able to understand and read things yesterday that I had absolutely no clue of even a month ago. It's been good for my Japanese, which has definitely improved since I started studying for this exam, and it's kept me motivated as well. I am planning to take another exam in December to keep my level up - がんばろ。

Apart from that I have just been recovering since that crazy two weeks when Tina was here - watching movies, going to sleep before 2 o'clock in the morning, chillin'. I don't have any crazy plans for the next couple of weeks apart from hitting Shie's last houseparty in her apartment before she moves out. Shie's place is fantastic, and if I wasn't leaving Japan I would be doing my best to move in - no doubt. My apartment is kind of modern looking, but hers is all kind of bohemian and there is this crazy cupboard door in the wall that opens to the outside (she's on the third floor). I think I will bring some chutney and ham plus maybe a bottle of wine with me. I will probably never eat a jar of chutney on my own.
