The wait is finally over
Well, my friends, it appears that I am now employed! Yippee! On Monday, I am starting as a research assistant at Aurora Biofuels, a startup company that is working on extracting biodiesel from algae. Considering these guys were the only ones who interviewed me out of all those positions I applied for, this is fairly miraculous. On the other hand, I really liked the people and their setup and I look forward to working there. The office is in Alameda, and I don't even mind the commute because it's a really nice place, right next to the bay. I get a decent salary, as well as benefits and stock options. Yay for being a functional member of society, at last!
