WHO HAS A FOOT FETISH??!

The week that was (or at least the points of interest):

Wednesday - Belvedere show.  Fucking amazing. The pit was great.  I got hit in the jaw harder than I think I’ve ever been hit in a pit.  It hurt for days after.  Rise Against brought down the house, the energy in the room made the air viscous so that every rhythm could be felt as well as heard.  I got a hoody.  I stopped by kareoke but didn’t stay long.

Friday - Fulcrum elections once again; this time for production manager. Erin Secord won.  My interview and my Web-comic article will be running next week.  Sweetness.  Then I went to Forty Cent Fix, The Fully Down and The Full Blast, with Laurissa (Backstory: Laurissa Wilson is a journalism student who writes for The Fulcrum.  She loves the punk rock.  She is currently running for Arts Editor.) and her friend Sasha.  I’d never seen the Full Blast before.  Too much distortion I thought, I like fast music to be a little cleaner I guess.  After that it was over to the English department pub night at The Royal Oak.  Sort of a paltry turn-out so we ended up sharing the basement with a group of Cordon Bleu graduates.  Sticky showed up which was awesome and he and I ended up dragging my friend Philipe (Backstory: Philipe is a guy I met at the last wine and cheese.  He is a very intelligent guy who just goes off his nut when he drinks.  i.e. Shouting “Who has a foot fetish!!?”  and removing his shirt.) back to his rez.  When we came back the Chef’s were inviting us to The Lower Deck.  They had bought a few more pitchers than they could drink and asked Sticky and I if we could help.  We were happy to oblige (I think I over-obliged though).  We all went to The Lower Deck and then home.

Saturday - Nursed my hangover and then got ready for the Arts Ball.  Went Downstairs to #513 for some pre-drinking and picture taking.  These girls take a lot of pictures!!  The most well-documented group of friends I’ve ever met.

Mike, Sylvia, Jeff, Melanie (#513), Myself and Sedine (#1213)

Jen (#513)

Me, Mel and Mel.

Art’s Ball was a blast.  It was fun exploring The Chateau Laurier, and the food was fantastic.  I consumed 8 different species!!  Stopped off at D’arcy McGees for a night cap and then home.
