First Orlando... next Miami!
So last Saturday night Ashley, Josh, Jose, and I went to a rave outside of Orlando that my friends were playing it. It was an outside event with three separate stages showcasing different electronic music styles. It didn’t take too long to there aside from getting a bit lost, but we finally for there around 12:00 at night. It was so awesome I can’t and won’t even bother to go into details. Ashley, Josh, Jose all really liked Devine and EmilyPlay and had such a good time that they decided that we were all going down to Miami next weekend for Maydaze which is a huge event every year with many top names playing all night and all morning long. My friends are actually in the top section of the promos with a picture with all the big names on the the list which is a pretty big deal because the bottom is reserved for the small timers, and the smaller the font the smaller the deal, but to have your photo as they do really means something. Anywayu, unfortunately we got shutdown by the police around 3:30am. That really sucked and a lot of people weren’t too thrilled about it since we weren’t disturbing anyone since we were so secluded and havign such a good time with only and hour and a half to go. There most have been at least 300 people there at one point. Afterwards we went to Denny’s to eat. Josh and Jose said it was the best party the ever have been to and thanked me which is a big deal to me. I’m so happy that we all went and had an awesome time, and that I got to be with “my” people and be around and be apart the true underground scene that I love.
