Coalition- An old RP
It was a warm day, much too nice to stay inside. Ulysses looked out the stained apartment window, his pale eyes casting skyward. Blue skies, puffy white clouds, yet in the distance he noted there were darker clouds approaching. It looked like there would be a nice lightning storm later in the day. He opened the window with his pawed hands, a slight breeze entering the room and ruffling his short black fur. He breathed deep, the scents filling his lupine noise with an overload of information; he could smell the thunder in the distance, the wetness of the earth. Closer by was the smell of the city, of garbage and filth. Mixed in with that, the pleasant smell of life, of the grasses and trees in the park, of the faeries, which had their own pungent sweet smell, and the multitude of smells from his own werefolk kind, their fur smelling to him so much like home.
He stretched his arms way up in the air, his bushy tail wagging lazily back and forth. Yawning, his pointed wolf ears flattened against his head momentarily, his mouth opening wide and his tongue lolling out. He shut his mouth, licking his jowls a few times before glancing around the apartment, looking for some descent pants to toss on. Thrown over a chair was a ripped up pair of blue jeans, but they were clean so he padded over to the chair and picked them up. Sitting down on the chair, he pulled them over his legs; they hung down low on his hips so as to not have to stuff his tail inside. He could always cut a hole for his tail but found this to be uncomfortable since his tail was thick; it would have to be a big hole. He picked up a pencil, shoving it in the pocket of his jeans and grabbed his sketchbook off the table, knowing today would be a perfect day to sketch in the park.
Sighing happily he opened the door of his apartment, locking it behind him. He didn’t need to wear any clothes other than his jeans when venturing outside. His clawed feet were padded, and there were no need for shoes, not that any would be comfortable anyways. His dark black fur kept him warm and covered the rest of him, from head to foot, so pants were all he needed to go outside and be… well, decent. Hurrying down the steps of the apartment, he passed by a few people on there way to and fro, but he had no desire to talk to them. Living on the second floor, he was soon outside, the warm sun warming him almost instantly, drawn to his black fur.
Although Ulysses planned on going to the park to sketch, he knew also that his money was dwindling. The gold he stole from his previous owner years ago was finally reaching its end. It would have been a wise idea to go job hunting on such a nice day as well. But working was so… boring. Well, maybe if he was a better artist more people would buy his paintings. He sighed again, hardly looking where he was going as he walked down the sidewalk; the people who passed him were hardly even given a glance. He had to go through the busiest part of town; it was the fastest way to the park and he figured he could check to see if any windows had signs in them that advertised a job of some sort. Whistling absent-mindedly, Max passed by quite DESCRIBE RAT AND FEL an odd couple and couldn’t help but pause and sniff, not realizing how loudly he was doing so.
