(no subject)
So I havent touched this thing in a month. eh.
I was thinking. 10 years ago i was in 6th grade, living in Tennessee of all places. That seems like so long ago, but still I can vividly remember everything. Well, kinda, i only remember one name, Doyle Coggins, my best friend there. i forgot the names of everyone else... I was doing a people search on various websites on him. Just curious to what they would look like now. But seems like the internet is foreign to that area...
I remember taking a computer class in 6th grade, and on computers that were from the 80's.
This all stemmed from finding the myspace of my best friend from when i was little. We've messaged eachother a couple times. He's now this tattoo wearing construction worker, which is cool. Just weird since i still picture him as this skinny kid who always had egg painting birthday parties since his bday is in April. Ans now he's this musclely guy that one of my friends (girl) was drooling over.
I wonder in ten years from now I'll be doing a similar search for people i know. and then akwardly message them asking who they are now. I guess that's what school reunions are for...
meanwhile in the present. Got casted in Clue as Mr. Boddy, so i play dead for the entire show. I guess I'll have to watch a lot of Weekend at Bernies for some inspiration. Classes seem alright. I like my film class, got to make my own scratchy reel from old stock footage from the 70's. turned out cool. Plus Brendan is in the class, which maked me happy. My Screenwriting class seems like a pain in the ass, but doable. And my Western Siv class seems like it will KICK my ass, but at least i like the material. that should help... right?
RAing is going swimmingly. I have my re-interview on Wed with glen. Im applying to be ARA so we'll see what happens with that. Im hoping for Towers. Keith made it seem like my chances are good so who knows. My RA evaluation was pretty good soo.....
Im having fun planning my date to the Semi. Ms. Lisa will be my date. and im wearing a pink shirt/tie. yikes.
My senior year is almost over. can't wait till my next one. (oy) It's weird but Im really ok with doing another year. I feel like it was the right thing for me and allowed to really figure out what i wanna do. I messaged this guy from Suffolk and learned a little about the Master in Higher Ed program there. So perhaps I'll try that out. I really like working for res life a lot. So maybe Im a lifer, as they say. who knows. but not taking this extra year would have made trying to get RD jobs and such a lot harder.
ah well. maybe I'll update in another month.... ::Shrug::
