She placed a hand over her mouth to cover the laugh that had bubbled up at his smirk. It really wouldn't do to laugh at such Serious Circumstances as Getting Shot when there were other people around. But, he seemed to be in good spirits.

"I passed Olivia and Fin on the way in. I think they were waiting to see Elliot. YOU have to wait for the doctor to sign you out."

He smiled at her. "He had no right to call you a whore. And it's my place as your husband to handle that." He moved over and put his arms around her. "But I have no doubt you could have dealt with him yourself. And I ask, because I love you."
