Seems I didn't write this up when I finished, so I now look back and am not sure when I fiinshed it. So I will guess it was somewhere in October.
Rogue Code is written by
Mark Russinovich, and builds on Trojan Horse and Zero Day; but only through the main character set. A team that you learn to admire and encourage.
Rogue Code is a fun computer hacker story. It could have been just a computer hacker story. I would have liked that it was just a computer hacker story. Meaning that the author brings in some physical travel, and confrontation. Making the main character take on not just computer hacker chops, but also physical 007 capability. Totally not necessary for the story. But, I guess also not necessarly distracting. I suspect this is in there to help position the book for a movie.
I am perfectly willing to allow fiction be fiction. I like when it is close enough to reality to make it seem realistic. So this was a fun read. It was exciting throughout and right to the end.
