(no subject)
Am in the library, trying very hard not to write a 250-word "personal statement", which will inevitably end up like all of my other "personal statements"- an adaptation of my (admittedly quite good, but paling) college entrance essay.
So instead....
Flying toast!
Peace Corps application is almost in the bag- just need to get my final recommendation and nail the last essay. Haven't specified a geographic area, but have stated that I prefer manual labor(have my fingers crossed for building water infrastructure[digging wells, etc] in South America, which would both help my Spanish and avoid the scarily neo-colonial "education" side of things).
Have to finish Rhodes/Marshall pre-apps next week. Urrrrgggggggghhh.
