Hey everyone,
So I was going through magazines today and noticed the back of my current issue of SPIN. It was an ad for Slacker.com, which is an internet radio site. So I decided to check it out. Pretty cool. Great audio quality and a lot of stations. Plus you can create custom stations and add as many artists as you want.
They also sell portable players with different station capacities. Cool.
BUT "Mac OS X Support. Wi-Fi only for Slacker Radio (via web browsers); personal content transfer is not supported on the Mac."
So you can't put your own music on it if you use a Mac. And it doesn't read iTunes files---MP4s. So that kind of sucks. Nowadays I don't know why you'd make a product that only goes with Windows.
One problem I have with the site is so far it only seems to play singles or well known songs.
Definitely worth checking out though.
