I made this statement @ dinner last night. I realized that I was the only one at the table not pursuing our group's common dream and doing well at it. I don't know if I'm successful in my dreams bc I have nothing to gauge it by. And I know you're not supposed to guage yourself versus others, but we all do it, especially to our friends. The thing is, the clincher: we are all set on different paths with different baskets of goodies for our lives and we have to realized it's not always going to be as easy as others but the efforts in the end will have all paid off. You need to realize that just because everyone else seems to be excelling, you in your own way, with your own individual successes is still in line with your peers, for if it wasn't like this, you wouldn't be peers with them... Ugh I know what I want for Christmas. Too bad it'll have to wait for the New Year. <3
