AI'm back from camping. It was really a great experience. We left at around midnight on Thursday for Yosemite National Park. Packed just about everything. We got there early Thursday morning. We left super early and were the third group of people waiting in line to get our campsite reserved. We met these really cool, crazy white guys from San Francisco. We played cards with them until we got our campsite and started to unpack our stuff. They were super cute man. Phew. Anyway. Yeah. We unpacked all our stuff and set up our tents and then just chilled for a couple of hours. HOT FRENCH GUYS WERE CAMPING RIGHT NEXT TO US. HOT TEENAGE FRENCH GUYS. Hah. So crazy, because I couldn't understand a word they were saying. Anyway. Then, we strolled on down to the visitor center to get some info and we then bought tickets for a moonlight tour of the valley that began around like 9 pm. It was the last night of the full moon, so we got lucky. Anyways we took a shower in the grimy stalls. Yuck. And hopped on the open head trailer that drove us throught the mountains to get a midnight moonlight tour of the entire valley. It was sooo beautiful. Everything was lit up by the moon. You could see climbers sleeping on the side of the mountains. So awesome. So, the tour guide was suprisingly this black guys from Monroe who just so happened to be a summer ranger for the park. We talked to him after the tour about interesting things to do and decided to go to bed.. finally.

The next morning, we decided to go rafting. Hah. SOOOO funny. We rented our raft, got our life jackets on and walked over to the river. It was Lea, me, and our older sister Curren. Curren and I decided to paddle, but we both didn't know how to. So we kept getting beached but it was fun. There were beaches we stopped along to jump in the river water and to stop to have lunch. At first I was kinda iffy about the water. It was cold of course. Melted snow.. hello. Hah. Anyway, I decided to hop in anyway, wrong time to be wearing a 2 piece. I put my capris back on and jumped in with those suckers on. Hah. Shame. Hell, at least I was a couple degrees warmer. Hah. Anyway, the swim was great and it was just plain fun. When we got back to the site (of course after showering), we lit our fire and made smores. It was soo beautiful outside in the pitch black. SO quiet. SO peaceful. Very romantic, which was depressing. The other people on our site were from the Netherlands and so we shared our smores with them, nice people. After the fire went out, we were out and went to sleep.

The nexy day, we decided to hike. We hiked to Mirror Lake and saw Yosemite Falls and all the nice scenic views. SOOO pretty. We pretty much spent the whole day outside. SO awesome. I could go on forever, but my fingers hurt already.

Anyway, on our last day. We packed of course, and drove up to Glacier point. SOOOOO friggen beautiful. I wanted to cry. We got some good views. Some awesome pictures and had a great time. Anyway, after Glacier Point, we drove to Mariposa to see the Sequioa trees. Friggen huge people. You can walk through those damn trees, HUGE.

It was an awesome experience and we've already decided to return during the winter. Hah. I miss my mom though and we leave to go back to Louisiana on Thursday. Anyway, i got things to unpack and things to do. So all, you know... be cool.
