Actually, in Russian bookmarket, Henry Lion Oldie (in real life - Oleg Ladyzhensky and Dmitry Gromov) is on the top of SciFi&Fantasy writers.
Please, spread it as wide as you can, to promote talented Russian writers in English-speaking world.
And some notes from me, to explain why it so important.
In history of cultural relations between Russian-speaking and English-speaking worlds were times, when great river of texts changed direction of its flow from one side to other. At the end of 19th century and early of 20th, it was a huge, full-of-water stream from both sides. Tolstoy, Dostoevsky, Turgenev and too many others to recount, got "mystery Russian soul" to London and New York. Also Kipling, Shaw, Twain, and later - Hemingway, Steinbeck, Updike brought English "stylishness" and American "challenge" to Moscow, Kiev etc.
In the Interbellum`s time and in 50s-60s this river was a little bit narrow, because of political tense between "Free World" and "Communists", but best authors, throughout all barriers and borders, reached to readers` hearts and minds from both sides.
However, in late 80s, 90s and after Millenium, this river was a little bit 'one-side flow', especially in SciFi&Fantasy. Tolkien, Asimov, Bradbury, Heinlein, Clarke, Sheckley, Gordon, Herbert - real tsunami from English and US shores splashed to former Soviet book market.
And only some names still made bets from Russian edge of table - maybe somebody from real English-speaking ScF&F fans can remember Strugatsky brothers. That`s it.
But now, we have a good chance to see first attempts to pay Russian part in return to English readers. It was, for example, The Last Ringbearer of Cyrill Eskov and, now new novel by H.L.Oldie, ShMagic, which I want to introduce.

I’d like to present a new Sci-Fi & Fantasy author from Europe:
Henry Lion Oldie (a great secret: it’s a penname). H. L. Oldie is still
unknown in English-speaking countries though he is a well-known author
in Europe. From 1991 to January 2014, more than 220 of H. L. Oldie’s
books were published in hard cover, including reprints and translations
(in Russian, French, Polish, Lithuanian, and Ukrainian), and more than
50 original books (first prints), and some anthologies. More than
1,500,000 copies of Oldie's books were sold up to January 2014. At
"EuroCon-2006" International European SF & Fantasy Convention, H. L.
Oldie received the title of The Best European SF & Fantasy Writer of
2006. Also H. L. Oldie received more than 30 different international
literary awards and prizes from 1995 to 2013.
Now, Shmagic, the first full-length fantasy novel by H. L. Oldie
has been translated into English.
Shmagic is a whimsical fantasy novel that follows the brooding
hero Andrea Musculus, a wizard-malefic from Rettia Kingdom, who is
pushed to investigate the disappearance of some children from the small
town of Yatritsa. Andrea questions the brash locals, flirty witches,
and resolute demon hunters who inhabit the town and surrounding forest,
and he comes across local people with a weak power called “shmagic.”
When a missing child returns all alone and talks of a strange place
where a little girl was playing, Andrea’s investigation extends into
another world, where supernatural powers threaten Yatritsa locals and
Rettia alike. But just as the mystery of the missing children deepens,
Andrea becomes obsessed with the “shmagic” of the local people,
uncertain what it might mean for wizards like him. Before he can focus
on battling the forces that are responsible for the missing children, he
must overcome an internal struggle-a wizard’s existential dilemma.
