Frustrated
I start my holidays this coming Friday 11 Dec, but as one would put it, I done something stupid today. Slipped and put my left hand out to stop my fall and ended up breaking 3 bones in my hand, so now it is in a cast nearly from finger tips to elbow. Stupid, stupid, stupid me, suppose it could have been worse, could have broken my arm instead. Six to eight weeks in plaster.
My partner and I are still going away regardless. Still have not told anyone where we are going. Out of ten places we have now narrowed it down to 3 places and none involve a lot of water. So I am currently repacking my gear so as it is easier to carry. My partner has never gone on a holiday before so I had let him choose where he would like to go. The ones he chose we take minimal clothes, I like that idea. Then again I am always camping so taking minimal clothes I can deal with. May as well go to a nudist colony, we have several around to choose from.
We leave on Sunday 13th to go away and will be back 3rd Jan. But even with hand in plaster I know I will have a great time.
