- Interesting that they chose to start the episode with Van Buren at the doctor’s. Was I the only one who thought that the segue to the pizza place was kind of awkward/random

- Mary Markson (Margaret Colin’s character) files something or other to get it thrown to the feds, because it was previously mishandled by the state…even though it was HER that bungled it! Oh, okay, she’s a former attorney general.
- Hearing. Cutter questions Ms. Markson’s authoriteh. - Go Connie and Mike being all knowledgable. Hehe.
“Have a nice trial, Mr. Cutter.” - oh, snap. GOOD LUCK, YOU’LL NEED IT, MIKE.
- Captain visits the LT. Hoshit. APOLOGY. WHAT WHAT. That’s right.
- Connie and Bernard scene. Oooooh. UNEXPECTED. Bernard: I’m a cop. I’m not the executioner. Rubirosa: Neither. Am I

This episode didn’t have a whole lot of over-hyped drama, but I thought it was pretty good over-all. Loved seeing the tensions between everyone rise and the ending really was just perfect.
It did have a different feel to it. Can´t exactly put my finger on it...
Jack mentioning he´d seen one execution and he didn´t need to see another was interesting since I saw that ep just the other day!
