I know this may not get anywhere, and they may or may not take the time to read this, but it's worth the shot. Comments turned off because I'm making this entry public, just in case, and I don't want any trolls or troublemakers replying in my journal. That said...
Are you guys monitoring your umpires? In last night's NLCS game between the Mets and the Cardinals, two unfair calls were made in favor of Saint Louis. One against Met Carlos Beltran, claiming an obvious ball was strike three. Earlier in the game, the reverse, an obvious third strike called a ball for Albert Pujols. This came on the pitch before Pujols hit a home run. Whether or not the outcome of the game would've been different is irrelevant to why I'm writing this. You guys should keep a closer eye on the managers and the umpires, checking to see if maybe the umpires aren't being paid off by teams to make calls that go in their favor. I'm not saying the Mets didn't make errors and that they should have won. Far from it. But this is how teams get robbed of possible victories that could lead them to championship rings that they rightfully deserve. Thank you for your time.
Cordially,
John Fenner
