Yay! Its Official.
So barring the army being a douche and changing stuff on me, my wedding is set for February. Its not gonna be anything big right now, we'll be having the bigger ceremony when im back from Iraq for good. Exact date is still to be determined. Probably bout a half a week to a week after i get back. Im planning on flying from Oklahoma to Oregon while im back, so anybody whos interested will be able to meet Sarah when i visit. It will be one of the few times im gonna be visiting for a while since weve decided to get a house in Oklahoma, so Im gonna be searching all you friends of mine out while i have the chance.
So, anyways, still sittin here in Kuwait, but we'll be in Iraq soon. Im back on the line again so ill be up close and personal with IEDs and gunfire again...joy. On the upside, i got an ACOG sight on my M4 now which has a 4x telescoping view so no need for binoculars anymore. Its fun to play with except that the only way to use it is to aim my weapon at things which is generally frowned upon unless i intend to actually use it.
Cant wait to get this deployment overwith. Its my last one and im done in the army. Ill finally be out. Four years just flew by fast. Cant believe how much ive done and accomplished in that time.
