Case of the Mondays
I don't actually have a case of the Mondays, i just wanted to say that seeing as it's monday and that's a silly thing to say.
i think perhaps i was abducted by aliens today because i cannot for the life of me remember what happened early in the day. or maybe it's just so mediocre that i blocked it out, i'm not really sure which. i'm bankin on the aliens though. those bastards are sneaky as all get out!
i do know what did'nt happen this morning though. school. somehow my alarm failed to rouse me and i missed bio this morning. woops. that was not so good, in fact this whole semester has not been very good for learning. my heads been everywhere except where it was needed these past few months. as i hear it though this is not in fact the end of the world or even the end of my career as a student. i found great relief in that fact while talkin to good ol generz about the subject of destroying a semester, and now that this one is drawing to a close i find myself feeling better and better!
later in the day i aquired possibly the most rediculous shoes ever. they are so stinking awsome that i have to pee on myself every time i look at them. i'm not sure how to post pics here in livejournal, so i'll be putting them in my Myspace instead. they are adidas running shoes, and they make me want to run and run and run and run. everytime i put them on they take over and i end up sprinting somewhere. i also got a brace for both knees, so the shoes don't kill my old man joints.
went and hung out with ryan barnes this evening and played cards with him and his mother. she took us to the cleaners, and then we recieved a distress call on the bat phone from b.j. that he was stuck in the mud out at the levy, so we (ryan and i...his mom was not down for the adventure) took pops truck and went to try to help. we managed to get his truck stuck as well.
after much grunting and fighting of the giant dow mosquitos, and digging we managed to get my truck at least untuck, but bj had to wait for someone with beefier hardware to rescue him.
hung out with ryan some more at his house.
i've said it before, and i'll say it again.
ryan is hands down one of the raddest cats on the face of the planet. anyone who doe'snt think so i will kick in the nuts, or face baring the possesion of nuts.
it's late...but my knee braces are begging for a shakedown run...so i'm out!
