$500 for good-as-new rebel xt with kit lens, extra battery ($50), 1gb cf card ($20), and a nice canon bag ($35). not a bad deal, no?
i think i'll get this 28-135mm lens. good ranges, ultra sonic motor, and image stabilization for $400. that should be good enough for wedding photos. i also thought about this 70-200mm L lens. it's huge but cool...but i don't want to be lugging it around for a wedding...plus i don't know if f/4 is enough for indoor events. i guess i'll need a speedlight to go with it too. man, this shit adds up quick!
