car talk, sans the new england accent
cor, i just found out that the new sti -- one of my potential car replacements/upgrades -- comes with a $36k price tag! ($40k with nav and bbs wheels! and you can't get nav without the wheels! outrageous! insert superfluous usage of exclamation marks here!) i must admit the price is a little out of my range...unless they're giving me 100% raise this year.
now i am entertaining the thought of base evo x. delete the rear wing and it doesn't look half bad. and it'd be 3-4 grands cheaper. of course, either would still be out of my comfy range and they both come with hefty insurance premium and shitty gas mileage.
i guess i'll enjoy the wrx a while longer. a chunk of tax refund will go toward a new set of summer tires. i think i'll give bridgestone re01r a try! new exhaust or ps3 will have to wait again :(
