On an unrelated note, I really enjoy taking math classes again. It is genuinely a joy to be doing Trig again.

And this time I am really striving to actually understand it rather than do it well while not understanding why it works. For example, I couldn't go to sleep last night until I figured out why x² + y² + x/2 + y + 1/16 = 0 would create a circle of radius 1 with origin (-1/4, -1). (I think that's the equation -- maybe not exactly it.) It looked more like it would be create a circle of raidus -1/16 at origin (-1/2, -1) and I literally just laid there for maybe 10 minutes mulling over each element of it, trying to figure out how to modify it to mold it into what I needed it to be.

Then the concept of the Perfect Square came into play and I let out a mental cheer of relief and tried to sleep again.

Yay for math!
