you have to have interests listed in your livejournal profile. i'm guessing it does a google image search for each interest and gives you the first picture that comes up. but if you click on a picture you don't like, it will give you other options.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure it does -- I tracked each one back, they're just in alphebetical order by interests, and the gay elderporn is evidently "communism." The topless girl is from Kurosawa, for some reason. I don't remember that in Yojimbo, but maybe his later works?

hmmm, that doesn't make sense then ... becaues these pics aren't anywhere near the top of a Google image search. It must be a little more complicated.

ahhhhh ... indeed it is. I really wouldn't have thought of that. I was busy imagining some elaborate, complicated system of selecting obscure photos.

But now I'm left to wonder why naked men blowing each other are the first hit on a Yahoo image search for "communism."
