Well, another fairly busy week for me.
On Tuesday evening I was back at SJA again, for the regular training session - slightly odd by being the third SJA day in a row.
On Wednesday evening I worked late at the office, so didn't get home until about 1am.
On Thursday evening I went out to the pub, which was fun, although I left relatively early because I was feeling tired.
Yesterday I did a comics run into central London, so I got home at about 9pm.
Today I was back on SJA duty at the Biggin Hill airshow. That was quite fun - I saw bits of the aircraft displays, e.g. the Harrier (I assume) that was hovering in mid-air, and the Red Arrows (apparently 6 feet apart at 400mph). And we had a fairly steady stream of minor casualties, so that's all good experience. It has been another long-ish shift though; I was out of the house from about 7am to 8pm.
I think this coming week should be quite busy too: SJA on Tuesday, the
SOAS open evening on Wednesday (I've started learning Japanese recently), a
Microsoft seminar in Reading on Thursday, and
Proms in the Park next Saturday.
Anyway, I've now caught up on email/web stuff, so I'm off to sort out dinner and slump in front of the TV for the rest of the evening.
