Casey wasn't expecting any company so he was a bit surprised when he heard a knock at the door. Looking through his high tech peek hole, he knew who was there. He grunted, and then asked, "What do you want?"
Hiro holds out the tree to him. It's a bonsaied Japanese cedar in a very tasteful vase. It looks a bit unhappy. A bit droopy.
"This is one of my ojiisan's trees. Although my sister does very well at bonsai, for some reason this one will not listen to her. It is 90 years old and I would hate to see it lost."
Casey sighed. He didn't really want to talk to Hiro, but he was being nice and did have a peace offering...of sorts. He opened the door and looked down at Hiro, eying the tree. "It's in rough shape."
"I know," Hiro says sadly. "She has moved it around the house to see if it would like other areas. She has given it all kinds of food to encourage it, but it seems unhappy."
