This year, as usual, Hotel Otter is the Quality Inn at Huntersville, just 6.2 miles from faire. Use the term "Invasion Otters" when making your reservations. Invasion is the second weekend of November, and these rates are good for November 9th, 10th and 11th.
$54/night for a king or two double beds with coffee maker, hair dryer and ironing board. For those of you with mobility difficulties, the hotel has elevators and ground floor rooms with outside exposure. Be sure to ask for an outside room if you want one. They're setting a few aside for us due to my recent poll.
Deluxe continental breakfast is complimentary, the food is typical of Hotels Otter we're familiar with. Free local phonecalls and free wireless internet.
