...back at my usual podcast stomping grounds, Jack Mangan's Deadpan, the secret project is finally revealed: Deadpan 100! That's right, a group of Deadpanites all banded together a number of weeks ago and created original content and Deadpan segments in tribute to Jack's podcast reaching Episode 100.
My contribution is "Tales From the Deadpan Bar: The Death of Jack Mangan." No really, it's a tribute. It is based on some freeform fiction pieces I wrote in the comments section of the Deadpan over the past year or so, and also crosses over into a different fictional universe... It is quite a hoot, and has already prompted reports of lol's on the message board.
There is also a new fiction piece which promises to kick off a serial, written by Amy Bowen, and lots of other great content from an irregular band of Deadpan regulars. If you've not listened to the Deadpan before, it may not precisely show you an average Deadpan episode, but it is as good a starting point as any...
