Update!
So, I went on an audition tonight, for a role that I don't physically fit, but I could definitely act my heart out with. The character is supposed to be 25-35, tall, and handsome. I'm only one of those things. *sigh* But the script is so fantastic and I really, really want the part. Which, of course, means I won't get it. But still.
At least it's gotten the theater bug back in my again. Alas, I don't think there are any other shows coming up that I have any interest in doing. At least not in the near future. And if I don't get my apology letter to the theater company I'm banished from, I won't get to do their summer show, either.
In other news, last Friday was the first of many bitch sessions with some of my coworkers, and it was a huge success. I wasn't expecting to be at Pedro's for nearly four hours, but there we were, sitting, chatting, complaining, and snarking on other coworkers. We even came up with code names for some of them. My favorite of which is Dipshit for my former office mate. It works pretty well, in my opinion. It's probably nicer than a lot of the things I've called her in my head, too.
In other other news, depending on if I land the part I auditioned for tonight, I'm tempted to take on a fic challenge. I'm talking a longer fic challenge, not a short fic challenge. So, if anyone out there has come across one that you think I might be good for, let me know. Caveats? Probably not SPN, because I don't know if I can get into any of the characters heads, except for Dean possibly, well enough to write them properly. I write a lot of Heroes, but wouldn't mind branching out into other things I watch. I don't really watch many real fandom-y type shows, though, which makes it tougher. But if any of y'all know of any challenges, let me know and I'll take a glance. Then I'll let you all know what I've decided.
I have other things on my mind, as always, but not enough time to really delve into them, so they'll have to wait for another post.
